Indian Economy Strong Enough To Overcome Crisis: President Mukherjee 8 June, 2013

By Ranjeet BatraPresident Pranab Mukherjee today expressed confidence that the Indian economy is robust enough to battle crisis, urging the people to remain positive in this hour of crisis.“Sometimes we find negative sentiments expressed in certain quarters, but being in economic administration of this country as minister for more than four decades, I am not disappointed,” Mukherjee said while addressing the first convocation of IIT Indore.“If we have registered 5 per cent growth in 2012-13, we should feel concerned but we should not feel panicky because Indian economy has resilience to overcome the problems,” he added.
